Course Description 

Kingennie golf course was designed by renowned Scottish golf course architect Graeme Webster. The nature of the risk and reward course design means it provides a challenge for both the beginner and the more accomplished golfer. Although our course may not be one of the longest you may have played the challenge comes from the risk factor and whether you are prepared to take these on. Our course features U.S.G.A specification greens, an extensive drainage system and also an irrigation system in the greens and tees.

Forbes of Kingennie golf course opened in August 2007 and has matured greatly in the following years. The golf course surrounds the resort, fishing ponds and lodges and provides beautiful panoramic views over the Tay estuary towards Fife.

Forfar Golf Course

Course Description 

The Forfar Golf Club is a private members Club that provides both its members and visitors with an excellent golfing experience combined with great service from start to finish. The course is both beautifully presented and carefully maintained against a back drop of the Angus glens that stays true to its natural heathland setting presenting golfers of all standards with a set of unique challenges for anyone wishing a memorable days golf in Scotland. Our Clubhouse provides a relaxing and comfortable environment to enjoy the hospitality and superb catering on offer.

Originally laid out by Tom Morris of St Andrews in 1871 with alterations being made in 1926 by James Braid the course design is a combination by two golfing greats with no less than 9 Open Championships between them and is of a quality that it has hosted national championships and has twice been the venue for the Scottish PGA Championship, the Scottish Boys Stroke Play and the Girls Home Internationals. Most recently in July 2011 the Club hosted the Scottish Boys Under 16s Championship won by Ben Kinsley of St Andrews.

Guthrie Castle Golf Course

Course Description 

Golf course architects always try to build “signature holes” – we are fortunate that the natural landscape around the castle has provided us with numbers of such outstanding holes. The 4th, 5th and 9th are stunning – both visually and from a golfing point of view. The Laird’s Course was originally built in 1995 to celebrate the Laird’s 50th birthday.

Kirriemuir Golf Club

Course Description 

A James Braid course nestling at the foot of the Angus Glens, Kirriemuir Golf Club is a true gem.

The course offers a challenge for all level of golfers, the lush fairways and fast undulating greens are beautifully presented in a mature parkland setting with spectacular views of the Angus Glens.

Letham Grange Golf Club

Course Description 

The Old Course officially opened in 1987 by Sir Henry Cotton, it is a 6632 yard par 73, Championship layout. A parkland course incorporating both tree-lined and open fairways. It features memorable water hazards on the 8th & 10th holes. Every hole is unique, presenting a variety of challenges to every level of golfer. The blue tees add another 336 yds to the length making it a fantastic championship course.

The Glens Course opened in 1992 and is a challenging, 5528 yards, par 68 course. It is shorter and a little less demanding than the Old. The finishing holes from the 13th onwards are tighter and more demanding than the first 12. The course is not the longest you’ll ever play but you need to think your way round if you are to be rewarded with a good score.

Monifieth Golf Links

Course Description 

Monifieth Golf Links offers you a fantastic golfing day out within 30 minutes travelling time from St. Andrews, 20 minutes from Dundee Airport and within 2 hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen Airports.
Play traditional links golf over two golf courses in excellent condition.  Enjoy all year round golf, on courses that seldom introduce winter greens.

Montrose Golf Links

Course Description 

Montrose Golf Course is the fifth oldest golf course in the world, play was first recorded on Montrose’s magnificent links in 1562.
The present Medal Course owes much to the design by Willie Park Junior. in 1903. Willie made alterations to a layout in which two years earlier Old Tom Morris had advised.

The Medal Course at Montrose is a majestic layout in the true traditions of Scottish links golf and has hosted many important events in its history including;

The Scottish Professional Championship in 1967 and 1970,
The Scottish Amateur Championship in 1975,
The British Boys Championship and Internationals in 1991,
Final Qualifying for the Open Championship held at Carnoustie in 1999 and in 2007,
World Hickory Open in 2013
The Europro Tour 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016
Final Qualifying for the Senior Open Championship held at Carnoustie in 2016
On 1st April 2004 the courses were transferred to being managed by a company limited by guarantee – Montrose Golf Links Limited. The Company reinvests profits into the courses and facilities to ensure future generations will benefit from the game of golf at Montrose.
