  • With no links golf courses in central Scotland, it should be no surprise when we state that this is where you will find some of the finest inland courses not only in Scotland but UK and wider afield.
  • The PGA Centenary course at Gleneagles held the 2014 Ryder Cup.  It will also host the 2019 Solheim Cup.
  • The region is home to Scotland’s longest river, the Tay – flowing from Loch Tay through Perth to the Firth of Tay on the East coast.  It is renowned as one of the best salmon fishing rivers in UK.
  • Scone Palace is a ‘must see’ if you are interested in the history of Scotland, as is Blair Castle.
  • When driving around this part of Scotland, look out for Birnham Wood and Dunsinane Hill, scenes from Shakespear’s Macbeth.
