Dalmally Golf Club

Course Description 

Dalmally Golf Club is home to a beautiful and peaceful nine hole course set amongst some of Scotland’s most breathtaking scenery.

Within easy reach of the country’s main population centres of Glasgow and Edinburgh, the course boasts interesting par 3s and 4s that will test the most able golfer while at the same time providing fair conditions for beginners and occasional players.

At Dalmally every hole is different, and with the introduction of two tees at six of the nine holes, a new dimension has been added which places more of a premium on shot making and shaping.

The flat parkland layout meanders through a rich wildlife habitat that has at its centre the River Orchy and a native Scottish woodland, both of which provide a natural defence to catch over ambitious lower handicappers.

Course Description 

Dalmuir is one of the finest 18 hole municipal golf courses in the west of Scotland. The parkland layout, near Clydebank, measures over 5,000 yards, with varied hole design and a number hills offering fantastic views over West Dunbartonshire.

Course Description 

Rouken Glen golf course is a relatively short (4742 yards), but challenging, par 65 course. It is a parkland course with treelined fairways and fantastic views over Glasgow when you get to the the upper holes.

The first 2 holes are flat then steep uphill for the par 3 third and back down for the 4th. Back up again for the fith and then flat from the 6th to 10th. Then slight uphill to the 11th, downhill on the 12th and flat for the remainder of the holes (13 to 18).

If you are looking for a quick few holes, you can start on the 15th and play through to the 18th, all on the flat.
