Course Description

Hazlehead offers three picturesque courses and a pitch and putt practice ground.

The MacKenzie Championship Course is arguably one of the best in the North East, if not in Scotland and was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, the golf architect better known for designing Augusta National in America. The Course provides a true test of golf skills with gorse and woodland being a hazard for any wayward shots. Several well-known competitions are held here on a regular basis.

The Pines Course, originally a nine-hole course, it gained an extension in the early 1970’s which was designed by Ryder Cup players Hugget, Coles and Dyer. It has a more open aspect than MacKenzie and its beautiful setting is perhaps more suitable for higher handicap players.
