Lumphanan Golf Club
Course Description
At 3718 yards, Lumphanan’s par 62 course offers a classic hillside nine hole village course. Its par 3 and par 4 holes are a great test of accuracy where you must rise to the challenge of narrow fairways, complex greens and bunkers. Our designers took full advantage of the outstanding natural characteristics afforded by the course to create memorable holes, many of which offer spectacular views of the Deeside countryside.
Macdonald Ellon Golf Club
Course Description
At almost 6000 yards, with a par of 70 (Ladies 73), this testing golf course is laid out in such a way that it is enjoyable to play no matter the standard of your golf. It provides a real challenge for the Tartan Tour Professionals who annually play in our Pro-Am and yet is a firm favourite with the occasional golfer who enjoys a weekend walk in pleasant surroundings. The longer front nine has a par of 37 and makes full use of its natural stream and gentle slopes to pose a whole host of problems for the thoughtful golfer.
Maverston Golf Course
Meldrum House Golf Club
Course Description
The course at Meldrum House was designed by Graeme Webster with the highest attention to detail. And our greenkeepers pride themselves in their meticulous standards. USGA-constructed, manicured greens. Cross-cut fairways. Water features. Dog-legs. Bunkers. All expertly maintained to the highest level, demanding perfection from every stroke for even the most accomplished golfer. Look out for the 18 bunkers guarding the green at the par 5 eleventh hole. But remember, we also have a sensible choice of tee positions if you’d like to take things a little more leisurely.
Golf here is a passion, a challenge and always a pleasure. In our view, golf doesn’t get much better than this.
Moray Golf Club
Course Description
The old course is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. A classic links designed by Old Tom Morris with deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens. It is a superb test of golf with seven par fours over 400 yards.
Henry Cotton’s preference for precision golf can be seen with the shorter but somewhat tighter new course with greens smaller than the Old but every bit as good, and equally challenging and rewarding.
Moray Golf Club is truly one of Scotland’s gems, a fitting tribute to the artistry of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton and a must for golfers visiting the area.
